Atlanta is a small town in Hamilton County, in the Indianapolis metro area.  It has a total area of 0.3 square miles, all of which is land, and a population under 1,000.  Atlanta is known throughout the area for the Atlanta New Earth Festival, which started in 1973 and is held on the fourth weekend of September.  During the festival this tiny town draws crowds of 80,000 people to over 600 vendor displays of antiques, arts, crafts, food and more.  The urban amenities of Noblesville are just a 15-minute drive from this area, bringing expanded cultural, shopping, and recreational advantages closer to home.  Area youth receive a quality education in the Hamilton Heights School Corporation, serving the area.
