Forest, MS is the county seat of Scott County, located in central Mississippi. Forest is an excellent stop for hotels, food, and groceries along the I20 corridor. A hospital and several clinics are available if and when needed. Several poultry plants call Forest home- including Koch Foods and Tyson. Small quaint shops fill the downtown Square. Forest is also home to the annual Wing Dang Doodle festival, featuring a local chicken wing cooking contest and blues singers.
